Yeah, the girls!
Valley Girls has always been about gathering women to encounter God, grow in faith, and build life-giving community. Years ago, what we know now as Valley Girls Social was birthed out of Valley Family Church and the heart of our Founding Pastor, Beth Jones, through events like Valley Girls Gives Back and the Empowered Conference. Those early expressions laid a strong foundation that continues to inspire us today.
In 2022, God breathed fresh vision into this heartbeat through the launch of Valley Girls Social. What began as one simple gathering quickly grew into a movement, with hundreds of women from our church and city coming together to worship, hear the Word, and find community.
Now, Valley Girls is thriving through Valley Girls Social nights, small groups, summer studies, and our annual two-day conference. The journey has been full of God’s surprises and His unmistakable favor—and we believe it’s only the beginning.

Meet Pastor Alexa
Alexa and her husband, Eric, serve as Lead Pastors of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In January 2023, they transitioned leadership from Eric's parents, Founding Pastors Jeff and Beth Jones, and are full of faith to help people in Kalamazoo and beyond know Jesus and make Him known.
Together, they are raising two beautiful kids and are passionate about Jesus, family, and the next generation. With over a decade of ministry experience and nearly three years as Lead Pastor, Alexa carries a deep love for God’s Word and Spirit and finds great joy in encouraging people to grow strong in their faith.
